Anyone know how much is it to convert Prelude 94 S to a VTEC engine?
And where to get my prelude tune up in brisbane?

What else can I do to improve the performance other than changing the exhaust system and air filter?

have a search..
the most common prelude conversion would be the h22a from prelude VTIRs..

I don't think you should bother converting an S to a h22a, its pretty difficult to swap.
Not a direct swap like the Si to the h22a...

Not too much point trying to get extra power our of an S imo. if you really want, basic mods like intake exhaust and headers but its kinda a waste of money trying to beef up an S..

The Prelude S runs the SOHC F22B engine similar to the Accord, if its a manual and you intend in switching to a H22A manual, the swap is fairly straight forward... All the engine mounts are compatible and driveshafts, you will have to re-wire for the missing sensors such as VTEC, KNOCK, IAB, (EGR, EGR SOLENOID) assuming that the exisitng motor doesnt have it...

If you add up the cost, be far more econnomical to sell that car and put out the extra dough and obtain the H22A VTi-R unless the car has some sentimental value then I guess thats a different story
