ek strut bar install

hey guys, i've got a gli 97 civic and i've tried installing an aftermarket strut bar, everything went fine but after going for a test drive car is making these creaky sounds(when driving and changing gears). did i screw the strut bolts down too hard? any ideas?

perhaps its touching something under the bonnet? maybe even the bonnet itself. have a look.
