View Full Version : Oil pans in the 1.6L cars.

Hey just a qik question peepz, i just busted my oil pan from driving onto a angled road and cracked d corner of the oil pan.
Right now the cars sittn at home after gettn towed n i cant go nowhere.
Is all the 1.6 L honda's all share the same size oil pans?

Its from a B16a.

Im pretty sure B16A and B16A2 are different pans

I dont think they are.

I used a sump of my 1st gen B16 on my turbo B16a2. Fits perfect

smack it out and weld it up, I think a new sump will cost over 180 new.

I've used a B18C oil sump on my B16. It didnt have any issues. i even compared both oil pickups on the B16 and B18 and it "looked" the same.

oh i have a B18 oil pan for sale if you want :D

Get it baffled while you're at it and start tracking your car :D

agreed :thumbsup: While its out and already getting repaired, might as well get some baffles put into there. Shouldn't cost that much more, and it will save your engine if your on track.
