is it bad for my d16 sohc vtec engine if i rev it out a fair bit when im shifting? is 6000-7000 rpm dangerous when shifting? what can i do 2 allow my engine withstand high revs without stufing it up?

your car can taek high revs, its VTEC, meant to be rev'd around there, i rev it to 5-7k when i feel like speeding...

Doesnt do much harm, but eats mroe petrol i think ...
