18x8.5 offset +40 for a dc5R??

hi all,

I got someone thinking to get a set of 18x8.5 all around with offset of +40 for a DC5R?
Will that be ok?
Is the offset right?

I have a friend fitted 19x8 to a new civic and went ok so I thought 18x8.5 for a DC5R shouldn't be a problem?

Yeah that should be fine, it may be abit too wide (18x8.5) - but 18x8 on DC5Rs fits nicely!

Offset sounds good!

What rims are you after for your DC5R?

fittin it shouldn't be a problem but be sure the offset is correct cause you won't notice it driving normally but at high speeds it might wobble...and 18 X 8.5 is abit too wide

yeah width may be an issue... as Xx8" is maxxing already..
