I have them on my dc5r and they do the job! Obviously if you can afford DMS then go DMS. But for their price SS is great.

And they were the most popular suspension in Jap last year, so hopefully that convinces you.

Your stock uppermount will do the job fine. There's no need for the pillar ball uppermounts. I'm running my stock uppermounts on my koni coilovers, not a problem.

dont stinge on the pillow balls ;) good for its price, theres not much detailed info here...but for experiences, known problems, etc...i did my search on rsx and that was limited cause 85% said it was good...that convinced me enough! haha

JIC makes some coil overs that are comparably priced and see to offer more... not that the teins aren't good... they're a great product

Just bought a set for my ED9
its really great for street as they say
only problem is the height adjustment is on the shock which changes the spring
preload when adjusting height as opposed to other coilovers which have a lower perch wich screws out

otherwise i love them

TERRY! if i use my stock upper mount would it damage the suspension or is it ok???? did u buy the upper mount as weel or u use your stock

if u got aftermarket upper mount, u can further adjust your suspension setting and your handling will become little bit more responsive, but the downside is they will be more sensitive for rough road....less confort.....hope that helps:D

GAP or GAB ?

I am installing TeinSS suspension into a Civic tomorrow, if the owner allows it then I will do a DIY/Review...

I personally have had 2 sets of TeinHA coilovers previously and didnt notice any squeeking, beside with the amount of new squeeks and noises you'll hear INSIDE the car after installing coilovers you wont notice any shock squeeking hahaha
