dont pay for paint protection, its a crock!

in a year when you want to polish it ( and yes it will need it ) you wont be able to.

I got tinting and I reckon its worth every dollar for a decent tint.

Drove a loaner jazz to brisbane and back and got thoroughly sunburned and felt very hot even with the aircon on...

Hoyinpng

true that...
ive realised how little difference the base models of hondas vs top models have..
they dun have that much difference
for mazdas.. they have LOADA differences
interior trim..
this and that...
its good when u have the top model... to differentiate from others..
but if u have lower models.. ud rather it be closer to the top..

Yea I hoped VTi-S had a bit more than just the lip kit. For a few thousand dollars more than than the VTi, it only came with leather steering wheel, wheels and the lip kit. Which aren't all too flashy really. Some differences I think in the interior would have been nice >,< - like... woodgrain finish and leather seats!!!...

For some reason I want leather seats in my VTi-S ...

my fren bought one sp23 when first came out for 30.5k driveaway... since then for the same price they added extra features such as leather seats and so on... price wise i certainly think its ok....

So, is it possible if people tell me where they got their VTI-S (in Sydney) and for how much.
So that I can get the best price for my Jazz? THanks

I think the VTi and VTi-S are the same apart from the trim and the exterior cosmetics so if you want to get your own aero you would be best off buying a cheaper VTi model and using the spare money to buy a decent kit. This is what I am doing ;)

They are fanastic cars mate. I am buying one after owning several performance cars for quite a few reasons.

They use bugger all fuel and have great performance considering, they have great tuning potential and parts availability, they are quality built, they handle very well even in stock form, the engine is very nice, they are spacious for a small car, they look great etc etc.

Check out this article if you need convincing http://autospeed.drive.com.au/cms/A_1762/article.html

I have another q's....... are Gli really so slow? I know they are not meant to be fast but at least they are strong enough to climb uphills and stuff......

I haven't driven one so I couldn't tell you but they have 10kw less and they don't have the added bonus of VTEC. They are a sniff lighter though so it may even it out a notch. Personally I would go for the VTi which has heaps more potential for tuning later if that's what you want. If you just want something economical and you aren't worried about performance go for a GLi. I think with the GLi though air is an option and an expensive one at that.

GLi is really good in fuel efficiency and econmical.. as claimed by Honda 5.xL/100km. My friend own a VTi and he is getting like low 6.xL/100km and I own a VTiS and I am getting high 6.xL/100km to 7L/100km. (that was before the mod) I think the reasons are bigger wheels, added weight (body kit) etc.

IMO, If you want fuel efficiency, forget about the mod. Like in my case, after putting a few simple mod, headers, mufflers and pod.. the trip went up to 7.3l/100km for daily usage..

VTi is the best way to go if you want to get your own kit and wheels.

my vti was sitting on 6.7 - 6.9 before the mods, after changing the header and pod it's sitting on 6.3 and sometimes 6.2 now

Weird.. That's the other way around.. Hmmm.. How come more mod, more fuel efficient ???

As "some ppl agree" most mods only increase power at higher revs and slight drop in lower revs so unless your flogging your car your petrol usage wouldnt increase and it would stay same and if not be better at lower revs, maybe a
silly theory.

mine is sitting at around 7.1L after mods...... compare to 6.5 before....

Guys keep it on topic please...there are already a couple of threads relating to the fuel consumption figures of the Jazz.
