b16a2 head on a b18c2 block...
what timing belt would i use?
b16 or b18? or the timing belts are same anyways? :confused:

B18c and B16a use different timing belts. The B18c one is a bit longer, coz of the block height. I would be saying that you will need the B18c one.

use a B18C timing belt. An ITR motor is basically a B18C with B16 head anyways.

yup i believe it is due to the size of the bottom block as to which timing belt you use as the heads as ITR heads and b16a heads are basically the same. Also a CTR is a destroked ITR lower block and it uses a b18 timing belt

It's all to do with the deck height!

correct :thumbsup: cos i can say in my own experience that my b16b uses a b18 timing belt ;)
