air bag on 97 ek9

Is it possible to install airbag on a 97 ek9?

was told by honda that it's not possible but vicroads wants it done

Well, it is indeed possibe. You need the entire srs system, however. And that will not be cheap. You need an srs steering wheel, passenger airbag, srs unit, srs harness. Just put a normal srs-fitted hatch next to it and do exactly as it is done there.

y dont u go buy a wrecked, non air bag exploded civic and just stuff that in?

well if he's desperate enough to want to bring in an EK9 and go that trouble....

to be honset though keric is right...ek9s are good but not that special for u to bother if ur looking it from a performance kind of view.....get a dc2r
