thank youno insurance? what were you thinking......if you could not afford it you should have bought a cheaper car...as for parts the nearest honda dealer should be able to help.

If you can't source any generic OEM front bumper, I suggest you buy a Mugen full front bumper. maybe cheaper than Honda OEM bumper.

Sorri to hear about ur accident...

I had a accident late last year with my euro...

It was pretty bad.. But my airbags didn't come out luckily... Well i live in Perth and even the paint/panel shop had to get parts from the Honda dealer which in turn had to get them from the eastern states...

Yeah the bumper & grill comes close to a $1000 so u might as well buy a aftermarket mugen front bumper... I hope ur A/C, front Lights, & Bonnet is okay...

I still have the price list for all the parts i had to get for my car... PM me if u would like to know how much oem parts cost...

hi there

yeah at the time third party was $600 and comprehensive was $2600 it's was such a big difference at the time. and because i really like the car i had to burow abit of money to buy it.....

i know the honda dealer can get parts but they are soo dear
so im trying to source out second hand parts...i called a melbourne wrecker and they said they just sold a front cut so badluck for me...

apparently my headlights are ok, but my bonnets abit dented...

"mugen front bar" where can i get one of these? and how much would this be? would you have a picture?

thank you all for replying so fast..much appreciated

ouch man sorry to hear.

must have been a decent hit to set off airbags.

As the car is so new, wreckers parts will be hard to come by.
Good luck i hope it turns out ok, and at least ur still alive

Sorry to hear about your accident. I am very surprised you didn't go for comprehensive - I guess everyone makes mistakes. Nothing you can do about that now.

Anyway - which airbags went off?

I would take the car to a smash repair place and get a proper quote - then perhaps try to shop around on some parts. There are now 15,000 Euros in Australia - so if you have time to wait - sourcing a 1/2 cut or 2nd hand parts sounds like a good idea.

weren't we just discussing insurance in another topic.. about comprehensive.. anyways...

that sux to hear man, really do feel for you - everyday i notice a new scratch on my car...

I have to agree with yfin, take it to a smash repairer to get a quote, they have all the parts on their systems. The prices will be pretty much around - just the time and labour will differ really - and the people you take it too.

Good luck with it and keep us informed.

no they are just supplied (the mugen front bar)
carquest seems abit expensive and in perth abit far

sinex is in melbourne and price seems more resonable, because most fibreglass bars are around this price in sydney
but unfortunately sydney doesnt have any aftermarket bar
i have been told that most probably next month most stores will have some aftermarket kits

im not too sure about the one from honda dealer though because they are the original bar for our car quoted at burwood sydney
