Hey all 2 questions:

1. I just had a lightened flywheel and HD clutch instald a week ago and ive noticed that my car now idles at around 700-800 rpm. It used to idle around the 1000 rpm mark. It happens once the engine is warmed is this normal?

2. Does the HD clutch need to wear in? Its either im being a total noob and just gotten used to the clutch but it seems a lot softer than a week ago?

Guesstimating...

1.My guess is normal / expected - a engine is tuned to keep a certain amount of mass "held" at 750ish rpm while idling SO if the mass is reduced , at cold start the idle will be reduced closer to the limited idle speed of 750 +/- rpm ( instead of 1000 or 1500 rpm as the car warms up).

2. a HD clutch does need to be bedded - i cant say atm whether we need to baby our cars for a certain amount of time...

ECU MAN etc ???

I did take it for a thrash the other day. Could i have damaged the clutch? No burning clutch smell but i did test its change to the car up a steep windy road near my house which needs a lot of up and down shifting b/w 2nd and 3rd

Plz wait until a person who knows what the exact procedure is - but AFAIK , you should take it eway for the first 1000k's or so to bed the clutch into the new flywheel.
Take care !
