my mechanic says it will fit 100% but u have had a few 'internet mechanics' online tell me it wont fit.
can someone WITH EXPERIENCE please clarify:)

yeah, it will fit. If a ITR intake manifold can fit onto a B16, then why not the other way around too?

OK I just edited the title for you Panda......but you need to be a bit more specific now.
Why? Because as far as I know, you can't bolt up a b16a intake manifold to the head of a b18c vtir (don't know the next number) as it uses a variable intake manifold. I don't think you can bolt up the ITR manifold to the b18c vti-r head either.
If you are putting the head AND the intake manifold from a b16a onto any b18c engine though..........then there shouldn't be any problems.

anyway its ok my mechanic was wrong, he had too many things on his mind lol
i am goin with b16a head so all good, thread not needed

All sorted out B18C2 is a P72 head and the B16A is a PR3 (same as DC2R head)cylinder head you can redrill the PR3 manifold to fit but this is not done that often most people use a BLOX or Skunk2 or AEBS Type-R style manifold.
