I want to know how big the pipe size is for the OEM TypeR, Vtir and the Gsi
as I am thinking of going to the wreckers to see what they have.

I'll be selling my whole DC2 VTIR exhaust soon as i'm getting my new exhaust installed next week.
The cars only done 80 000 KMs, and the original exhaust is in perfect nik.

Can you expand on this, when you say bottleneck, does it result in a smaller pipe diameter cat back? if so, what size does it reduce too?

the bottle neck he is referring to is directly where the B pipe meets the cat, it drops down to about 2 inches.

This is done mainly to keep noise levels down and I would imagine it heats the cat up quicker.

Its a very small section about 3cm in length
