I want to lower my car. I have no idea where to start.

Do i need coil overs? What springs do i get? Superlows? King springs?
How low do you recommend it?

I have an EG Sedan, 15" rims, No body kit.

Please help!

EG looks good if you lower 1.5" inches, will be legal and clear driveway with ease. You can keep your standard shocks too as it will not kill it.

2.0" inches, just on the limit of legal I think most part of the car will be 10cm of the ground but need to drive more slow when going up and down the driveway. standard shocks can be use but will die with time

anything more then 2.0"+ I think need to consider everything replacing, shocks and springs. Police won't like it either.

Just speak to the guys at your suspension shop.

nice ride height there BoneZee, but i reckon the cops might still canary your car for those if they wanted too...

they would be coilovers for that cost wouldnt they?? so you could adjust them if necessary

Depends on what your budget is, what you would like to get our having your car lowered. If it’s just for looks then a decent set of springs should do the trick, be mind full you are not able to keep the standard shocks if you lower it to much.

The best idea is to speak to your suspension shop, and get them to give your some different option. I personally wouldn’t use King springs, as you always get what you pay for.

i've been advised to save up to get it properly lowered. But it's not for performance. Just for looks. But i don't want to wreck the shocks.

I don't want to spend too much.. a few hundred and i also want it legal. I got so many cops that have nothing to do but defect cars in my area.

Does anyone know where you can get H&R Ultralow coilovers in Australia?
(These can do a 5" drop on an EF)
