hey does anyone know who would win in a race between a
DC2 and a DC5
i hear that the DC2 has way more potential than the DC5 and i jus wnaa know on who thinks the same or dusnt.......

and the dc5 has a 2L compared to the dc2 which has a 1.8L, so the dc5 has more potential at the end of the tunnel.

i actually ran my mate's DC2R on a rolling start starting at 60km/h

2 and 3 gear the DC2R was just pulling a 1/4 car length, 4th gear in my DC5R would pull away

i'd take the k20a over the b18c anyday but i'd take the dc2 chassis over the dc5 chassis hehehe...so k20a into dc2 chassis for me :p

In the real world, the power of dc5R is more than dc2R. But compare the weight, dc2R is much better than dc5R. Light weight get better handling.

i ran my frends DC2R with my DC5R at eastern creek like 4 times manz....
WHY CANT I WIN !!!!!!!!!!
i took it into consideration that he has more engine mods than me but still.........
i couldnt help by try to comfort my car......
all in all though they were all close races i guess my car needs a few more engine mods....!!!!

I love the sound in the first clip when all four R's went past the camera.. that was sick...
I reckon that was a fair race, all R's were modded.. the DC2's ended up handling just that bit better then the DC5's

The downfall is the DC5's front suspension setup choice Honda went for.

there's alot of clips out by best motoring etc etc.... most of them i've seen the DC5R wins over the DC2R.... but yeah, seen the one the DC2Rs win.... not sure if it's a modded race though....

in the japanese honda integra magazine (about 100 pags or so) where they interview the honda designers, R&D team etc and give an in depth analysis of the two, the DC5R is quicker around the Honda test track compared to the DC2R and old civic R.....
