hey peoples i was wonderin ........
im track racing my car soon and i jus wnaa make sure that if by chance i happen to blow my engine i am able get a rebuild done by spoon or toda or do i havto go elsewer....?

i know der expensive but they are the brands i can realy trust .....
id ask for mugen also but i dunno if my pocket is deep enough for them.......

u can't get get it done by them.

u have to buy parts made by them and get ur mechaninc to rebuild the engine with the parts.

get a whole engine rebuilt by spoon or toda? you've got deep pockets already mate... best bet ask Adrian from toda au.... he'll tell you whats its gonna cost to get it rebuilt by toda...

You can always order a creat motor? buy preapre to have very very very deep pockets..

You can ship your motor there - and get them to build it - But again - it would be stupid to do this!

I know the sultan of brunei sent one of his motors over to be full built! but then again - he is one of the riches man in the world!

first if u want mugen or spooon u have to know how to speak jap or know sum1 over there which can help you and u have to have a deep pocket, toda i think u can get TODA AU to rebuild a motor for giv him a PM and depends on how much u want to spend

Incorrect Guys, Toda do make engines for you, they are not cheap, but they are well worth the money.

I've got a few setups and costings, but Id better leave that to Toda_AU to post up.

the rrp on a spoon engine in aus dollars works out to be about $5600, which to me doesnt seem half bad considering how much some people put into their engines. its just a prick cos they are in japan, i guess that someone who sells spoon could probably get one, but i wouldnt mind betteing that they would put a bit more on top of it for freight and their fees

When you say $5600 is that for a b16a? For a brand new engine that has been upgraded it is a pretty good deal if you think about it, mind you it would be interesting to see how much shipping, import duties etc run :confused: .

yeh i own a DC5R but i like knowing things i never knew before....
and as for that whole new engine question imjus asking because my frend and i want to have our own project as well but, with a ek series civic
and i ask for other friends that dont hav time or just dont know what to do
and my friends knowing that i have allot of spare time they askl me to help and i ask the guys in dis site because i know you guys know wat your toking bouts...............

they done some things..... its more of a Type-S modifying by them but the parts from type s is carried from type R so i can have some of the Type S products after all its a type R wit an S badge anyways.....bit of a joke i reks
