My new civic (with pics) :)

Hey guys

Bought my first honda tonight, a 96 EK GLi hatch, manual. Paid $7750 for it with 159,000kms, the guy who owns it has had it since new and it has full service history, never been in any accidents and everything is in perfect condition. Pretty good buy i reckon! :)

Plans.. umm, nothing just yet, but probably stereo, tint, lowered a little and some 16's

civtir is right. Red is the fastest colour. After numerous tests done under scientific conditions the red paint was deemed to be lighter but also adds a massive 5kw to any engine :D

my car still shines after a good wash.

TRICK is to keep it really dirty so the original paint is hidden under the dirt :thumbsup: :D

woaahh thats an awesome pick up mate! my gf is looking for a GLi... she's only finding some for 11g's and they are 97mods with almost 200k...

First on the mods list is probably tinted windows, and stereo.. then later on fix up the handling (probably just springs + rear swaybar).

oh yeh and one more thing.. try driving it with air con on and up hill from a stop.. feel the difference :(

Yep I'd watch that red, My roof was hot pink at first, behond any waxing repair, so it was sprayed. I polished it just twice every three months, and now I havent had to for about 6 because there's an ever lasting layer on it lol, its so rewarding

I picked up the car today, love it already. Handles fairly well for a stock car too, much better than my previous car (EF Falcon).

Going to give it a good wash and polish tomorrow so i'll take some pics and put em up in the gallery forum :)
