Hi,

I have CD in my stock HU that is build in the dash and would like to install cd/mp3 changer. I know you can install the RF changer but I don't want that, have been told that our HU is Sony, and I can use any Sony changer as all have the same socket.

i'm not saying it is but it may happen. Big manufacturers just get quotes from a few brands and they select the cheapest and get OEM.

after taken out the hu and have a look at the Aux terminals myself, i believe you'll be able to connect the cd/mp3 stacker to the aux terminals yourself. just need to know the wiring for the stacker and connect accordingly to the Aux terminals. just note that this will have a separate control, meaning to say that you won't be able to control the stacker from the hu.

if that's the case i'd rather spend a little more to get the factory stacker

i don't think the vibe stacker can play mp3. cos when i was choosing my jazz, i did look at the vibe and the cd stacker they provided is the same as the one offered as option. so it cant play mp3 as well.
