Hey guys, just after some personal opinions on which you would do out of these options and a reason why...

1. EG Civic (sedan) w/ b16a engine conversion, turbocharged
2. EG Civic (sedan) w/ b18c engine conversion, NA w/ some engine work
3. EM1 Turbocharged
4. EJ Coupe w/ b18c engine conversion, NA w/some engine work

Just after some personal opinions...
i know everyone has different opinions, and i would like to know which path people would prefer too take...

Just wanna see what peoples preferences are and why :)

Thanks people

don't use a sedan as a base..
use the hatchback..

i like the sedan's, coupes are even better, not a fan of the hatch's myself and i dont want an EK sedan, its definately gonna be a civic, not an integra, one day i plan on buying an integra, maybe after my next car (finances dont allow it at the moment).. i wanna do a front end conversion on one if i cant get a proper JDM type-R, but for now im really keen on those model civics i mentioned. i.e. only the coupe's (EM, EJ) and only the sedans in EG's

Also, i like the B-series engines, they are a much easier swap.. a K20a is too expensive and i dont want a difficult swap..

thanks to the people who have posted there opinions so far, appreciated :)

i'd say EM1, b18c engine or boost then.. plus brake/suspension upgrade
as the EM1 has better suspension and brake base than the EJ..

i would prefer coupe over the sedan, but that's me

I say go with the EJ8 and do an engine conversion in that, as it will cost about the same as doing a decent turbo setup.

Seems like another AUDM EG9 will be on road soon~:D

May be u can use the CRV lower block to make yourself a B20A?

Buy an EM1. Bolt on a JRSC. Put on a 4-1 Header and Full 2.5" Exhaust.

Reason = If you have the money for an EM1, you can't go past a factory installed B16a2 for reliablity reasons. Supercharged EM1 would dominate.

well i would choose keep the sedan and put in a b16a and turbo charge it,
i got plans for a b20b turbo for my dads eg sedan

em1 cos less labor to do conversions and less chance u'll have installation pains

thanks for all the replies people, appreciate it, EM seems to be a very popular model, its a hot looking car isnt it...

im leaning towards putting a b18c in my current sedan, doing the labour myself, then maybe in a year or so when i have more money, sell it and buy an EM1 and eventually turbocharge it, if im happy with my b18c powered EG i might even keep it longer, i love the look of the EM1's though.. before anyone says doing a conversion on my car if i plan on selling in the near future is a waste of money, but i like to spend my money on my car especially when it will transfer my shitty non-vtec SOHC into a b18c machine :)
