hello all, i ahve a black interior in my euro, my leather has all sorts of scratches due to some unbehanved kids whos parents dont stop them wrecking other peoples property :thumbdwn: My mats are muddy (never loan your car to anyone) all sorts of stains etc on carpet. i m gona replace the tailored mats, i ahev rubbed them so much they look like if some one has been burried them in tar and mud for 100 years and i just took em out of the ground. Stains on the cars carpet as well. Tried many products to remove leather scratches but no go there. some of u reccomended online but i m not big fan of online, im old fashioned and like to get my stuff from stores. The foam bits on the doors on the euro have bad stains. its stains every where. there r food crumbs etc dirt every where, i am finding it hard to remove with normal vaccume. The car is a mess. how do i get it back in shape. The stains arent going etc. Kinda regret not getting the white interior then again that would have been much worse.

Any good auto accessories store should have it, eg Super Cheap Auto, Autobarn, etc. Maybe even your local KMart Auto section might stock it.

i also use a leather foam which the autobarn guy sold me, dont know the name. he says its the best they got, its great, gives it a rich leather shiney feel but doesnt remove scratches,
thats very dissrespectfull (sp?) of the people whom you lent the car to, to give it back to you in such a mess. unless its a direct relation (brother) whom you lent the car to, i would not be very happy.
Once leather is scratched, i doubt u can remove it. Sorry dude

Meguiars product wont get rid of the scratches but it will clean dirts that stick on the leather.
it is better to use Meguiars leather Foam rather than meguiars gold class leather cleaner.
The foam smells better and more practical. But the gold class is more oily on the leather, this could means that it protects better and last longer...
Put this on ur leather once every 4-5weeks during winter, and once every 2-3 weeks during summer. also wear less jeans if you have invory leather :)
also i check the price, BIG W normal price is cheaper than Supercheap Auto, unless Supercheap has 20% discount or something similar.

Whats the best stuff to protect my standard black interior? When I get the car I spray the inside with some high quality protectatnt if you can recommend some brands.

My other car also has the cloth trim interior. I only used the Meguiars Carpet And Interior Cleaner (the pink bottle). Before i also have tried Meguiars Cloth & Trim Cleaner. they both provide the same result.
they both probably contain the same stuff, just named, packed and smell differently. maybe to encourge people to buy both.. :)

if you just want to get rid of the fluff and specks of stuff that build up on the black velour i give them a wipe over with a damp chamois. neat and very cost effective way of de-fluffing the interior !!! Hope that helps keep them Euros clean. lol...

i've found black interior to be relatively easy to handle, yet at the same time rather difficult.
I can't remember what brand i use, but i have some leather cleaner which i use every few weeks, cleans any stains/oils that look like they are on the seat and give it that night shiney polish look again.
Otherwise the seats look a bit dull and dry.
And you can tell when you compare the front seats to the back (which hardly get used)

I use 303 Protectant, from Autobarn. It's less greasy than Armorall, and you can wipe it down for a matte look, while it is still being protected (you can feel it). It is also silicone free.
