hey guys.

my car has had this annoying problem for like 6 months now and its finaly starting s**t me to tears. what happens is that my car will start fine nearly all the time. but then some times if i turn the car off. then say 2 mins later goto start the car it will turn over fire then will die. this will keep happening for up to 5mins of turning the motor over. some times if i put my foot to the floor on the accelerator it will start but not all.

im finding it hard to diagnose the problem because i dont know what causes it to be soo eratic. i think it must be a sensor or somthing. i have no idea. has any 1 had a similar problem b4?

thanks guys

chris

u should check your ecu for fault codes. check the engine bay fro any loose wiring also.

you might havr to take it to a mechanic to get it checked out.

Yo bro that sounds very similar to the problem i have on my 4th gen accord awhile ago too but i got it fixed for 50 bucks at a mechanic. Its got to do with the main relay. I got it fixed at Hanny's while i was fixing something else. If your good with electronics you can fix it yourself. Check this site out, it shows you what it is and how you can fix it, thats if you wanna save money and you know what your doing.
