Ok recently i managed to muster up enough time to pull my roof apart and inspect where i was getting water leaking in from. This was after extensive my friend to pore water on different parts of the roof to find the leak. AHUH!! water started falling on my face, it appears the leak came from the windshield seals at the centre of the roof and to the passenger hand side of the car. And my question is this...

Is it an easy job, can it be done with the right seals and glues etc. Or is it just easier to get a shop to do it ?

Roughly how much would something liek this cost, say re-sealing the front windshield, done at a windshield shop or something similar?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Black silicone glue. One that can withstand weather and seal it up. I used one that i had lying around from when i glued together my fish tank. Work fine, just need to clean the surface and maybe cut away any dead glue. Just make sure you don't cut all the glue as it is the only thing holding your glass on!

check for rust.. if u got rust up there.. some extra silicone is just gonna make it worse.

most of the time.. it would be the seals.
it's most recommend that you get a professional to do it, don't want to risk anything going wrong now.

Just take it to a beater... as someone said they'll use this black glue called sikaflex, which is used to seal up car windows and is also an automotive adhesive.
