Euro77 rocked up at my joint last night and we did his WhiteLine Sway bar which we ain't gonna talk about because it's been covered and his CUSCO Lower Arm Bar for the front...

Oh..Me and Euro77 found another way to get the Swaybar off and on without a hoist (Especially for those still running dual exhaust) :D... Less hassle than yfin's...

First Up... Installation was a breeze.. I was in and out from under the car in under 5mins... (VERY IMPORTANT! Make sure Torque setting is set correctly.. it's a tight screw.. 76ft/lb I think)

Anyways.. It's amazing how light the bar is, partly due to the fact that it's hollow but WOW! Prolly weighed around 1/2 KG or LESS..

Anyways.. Here's a few photos....

Installed Product... SEXY! But who can see the Blue :D

Look at the size of the Bolt......

Finally... Yes, that's my big head under the car putting it on LOL!

As usual, I'm gonna let Euro77 give his review on the CUSCO bar.. hehehehe...

CHEERS...

Where can we buy one and how much?

I wanna do the cusco strut bar and the lower arm bar as pictured here.

Is there only 1 cusco strut bar option for the euro?

helps stability and less body roll.........stiffens ur ride so u can get around corners faster and with less bouncing around

Wicked Guys...

Yeah please tell us Euro77 if the Cusco Lower Arm bar is a worthwhile investment or not...

Well, I got the whiteline sway bar installed at the same time. So it's a bit hard to say what makes the car turn in more sharply, most likely due to the sway bar. But body roll wise, I did a few lapse of slalom with 'imaginary' cone (if you know what I mean), the car just goes flat (not 100% flat but a lot flatter than without). When I got my suspension done, I'm sure it'll be really flat :D
I'll definitely see how it goes on my track day, 2 weeks from now.. can't wait :D

Clearance to the flexpipe (DC SPORTS)

CLEARANCE ISSUES...

The oil filter is there as a guide to show the clearance between the bar and the ground, take into consideration that my car is lowered...

After measuring it, the clearance between the bar and the ground is... 70mm!

So anyone who is considering this chassis modification, remember to take into account the height if you have lowered your car.. As a guide, I can barely fit one finger in between the tyre and the guard...

Far out - your car is low as. So how do you find the bar, do you notice much difference in light of your other mods?

I've already scrapped the bar at Chadstone S.C carpark... Stupid metal hump that is narrow and high!!!!!!!! (No point doing angled drive through as the hump is too narrow for that) :( :( :(

Gonna take photos of the damage!!!!!

Is your car lowered?

Ok, wasn't as bad as I thought it would be..

I used some touch up paint (Artic Blue) to cover up the exposed areas....

Honestly, I felt no difference in the car at all.. One reason could be that the car is already stiffened up from the other mods that it's actually not doing much LOL....

Thanks to Euroaccord13 I am using his Cusco lower arm bar at the moment (until he installs some mods) and I can happily report this brace makes a nice difference to the cornering attitude of the vehicle. The front of the car is less prone to lateral movement in hard cornering and it also sharpens up the steering when cornering or lane changing at even low speeds.

This mod is a worthy addition to anyone who has already installed a strut brace and a thicker rear sway bar - although you will probably notice a difference on an otherwise stock vehicle.
