i have a dvd player in my car, but my existing headunit doesnt have AUX INPUT.

i have got one 4 ch AMP, there's 2 solution i've heard

1. connect 4 speakers and SUB to da amp..then connect the dvd to the amp
(dunno if it's too much power and not safe, also terrible sound)

2. use FM modulator to get sound from existing headunit.

which will be a better approach?

the previous unit, cheap...
no good
cant load discs...sometimes work sometimes dont.

oh by the way, i bought the FM modulator today, very disappointed...
the sound from the unit compared to the FM, is totally different.
the FM was poor quality, hissing, buzzing...even when low volume..
is there something i can do to improve it?
or could be a BRANDED work better?

What sort of head unit is it? I know that with certain Pioneer models you can buy a separate adapter to allow for aux input. If it's a tape deck than u can get a tape adapter. Otherwise you gotta change the head unit man...if ur lookin for half decent sound quality, you've got no other choice.
