hey guys i learnt so much latly, so not gonna do a h22a or a b18c7,

im gonna put me togther a motor, which out of all my reasearch i think will got well,

Goals I WANT VTEC
I WANT BOOST

so, i am going to wrk with what i got,
i have a t3/t4 500hp turbo, may need to swap for smaller t3 320
exasut manifold,
wast gate
intercooler
microtec fuel computer (for sale)

i will use that gear, plus to a ls/vtec conversion,
and have a decent ecu put in with a set of forgies and rings just for shits and giggles, as well as bottem end bearings

only question i have is would a b16a head be better then using a b18c head on my b18b block???

b16a head would be a far better choice than a b18c head as the b16 head flows far better. Good luck with it all and let us know how it goes

sounds awesome bro,

even just a turbo setup on your b18b with cams and more internal parts would be a pretty solid setup if u do it properly.

Hopefully u can get a good reliable setup with the VTEC and Boost together. I'm sure u will keep us posted... :)

also if u have a GSI youve got a DC4 not a DC2 as it says in your profile..

shel be sweet, as i will have good flow from vtec head, while keeping my compression ratio in the 9s, so running 7psi will be ok, untill i blow my bottum end and build a good one lol

either head will work.

I'd be inclined to use the B18c head, the quench pads are not recessed, and so would promote better flame propogation towards the exhaust valves.
These aparently flow better out of the box, so if you're NOT going to the expense of porting, go with this head over the b16.
Also note that the compression with one of these heads will be greater as the chamber volume is less (41.6cc) versus 42.7cc of the B16
