hey all, recently i just put a set of X-force extractors and a B&M shrt shift into my civic (4 dorr ek D16Y5).. i must say this had een the best money i have spent on my car, the extractors made response alot quicker, revs quicker, sounds btter, and the best part goes better hahaha and the short shift makes things more fun.. has any1 else done these modes?? wot are your thoughts? i'll put pics up soon..

yea, love my B&M too. wish they had the dual bend style in Aust. kinda felt weird that it was straight stick but i got used to it.

yup short shifters are great fun.

You might want to get the rest of the exhaust and then you will feel even better.

How do you know if you have a short shifter or not??? I bought my car and i think theres one in there, but im not sure... My dad's car is a CRV, and all my friends drive autos. How short is the shortshifter??? :S

Check out another manual car. With a short shifter the throw (how far the stick moves) is really short, maybe 1/2 or less than standard. Also gears are closer together. PPL who aren't used to short shifter often have problems getting the car into the right gear ie put it in 4th instead of second. Hope this helps.

TYPE-one mines done nearly 200kms so don't worry to much, although no1 ever picks its got that many kms.. mods i've done are xtractors, zorst, intake with pod and the shifter, i'm thinkin bout gettin a cam gear but i'm not to sure wether that would be floggin a dead horse seein as though its still got standard cam.. if i could be bothered gettin off my arse i'll put sum pics uo of the big girl, done a few more things recently.. 18" gestault virouges and a new stlye front bar, waitin to get rest of the kit, and yes its a abling bling car.. i had it JDM style but i got over it... although i want my stockies back since the 18's reduced my power heaps.. and also does any1 know where i can get cheap camber kits from, the back looks like a bowed legged hooker hahaha thanks for all the great comments :D:D
