Well as most of you would have read my "Valve cover opinions" thread yesterday, u would know i did my own lil DIY Valve Cover yesterday... today was DIY day again.. this time with my headlights. Starting at 2, with some "Flame Proof Flat Black" spray, and some "High Temp RTV Silicone", i began the DIY madness
Taking the front bar off,

and leaving her as b-e-a-uuuutiful as the day the car gods made her, (note: started gettin the HONDA on the valve cover back to scratch ;) ) , we unscrewed the headlights, removed the bulbs, and went to the process of melting the OEM silicone... talk about being the most annoying job EVER... we had the oven at roughly 120 degrees, and for about 10 mins... boy was she hot to take out...
after pulling it apart, came the process of spraying the headlight itself... a quite challenging yet fun task..

NOTE: Indicator was masked out as to keep shiney part (;) |N| :p)
once the paint had dried came the very intersting challenge of sealing the headlight back together... we opted to smush (heheh engrish) the 2 parts together, and put it back in the oven to re-heat the silicone.. then, afterwards, go over and seal it with the Hi-Temp Silicone.
while sealing, we notice that its starting to rain, and hence comes the very fun part of fitting the headlights, in pitch black darkness, while its raining.. lol. many a torch was found, and after a few long hours, finally my project came together. We connected all the lights back up, and after turning the parkers on, and only 1 coming on, and me having a psycho cos we'd just got it done, and then realising that it came unplugged lol... we finally got it all done back up and lookin purdy (pretty) :)
Before (OLD PIC) (With parkers on ;) ):
