Hello guys I am currently in the market for a 98+ model Ek Gli hatch, I would like to know if these hatches came in with ABS as a standard or it was a factory option? And also does anyone know the accurately weight of these hatches? Thanks heasps ppl.

no ... they dun come stock with ABS

well since you're in the market, have a look at www.redbook.com.au (http://www.redbook.com.au) and have a look at different cars' specs. The light weight of civics means they dont really need ABS, just learn how to break properly instead! lol :p

ok thanks for that. I am just a bit confused that every now and then when i look at the ads, I see civic gli advertised with ABS, however I don't see ABS stated in 95% of the ads. Anyway i will go and have a look at the redbook.com. Thank you.

no worries mate, and dont forget to revs check the car before you buy it too, no matter where you buy it from.

I think the new models are coming out with ABS as an option. That's where the ads are coming from. Previously the GLi did not come out with ABS.
