*reads badly punctuated paragraph 4 times*

You will have to make up a bracket in that case. i'd say. SO the new manual tranny bolted up OK?

technically a clutch is a clutch and if you say it is the clutch then you are talking abou te thing that sits between the flywheel and gearbox with that said are you still talking abou the clutch or are you talking about an engine mount that connects to the clutch housing/gearbox housing ? the clutch slave cylinder? the clutch master cylinder? the clutch lever mechanism?

the clutch lever is the thing that sits next to the brake lever..you use it to aid with gear changing.

Not really sure what you're talking about. But my previous gen accord to yours had auto to man conversion when the swap was done. So it can be done. You are welcome to have a look at it to see what was done. Can't really help you any other way.

there is no clutch on an auto.. it's easier to relate it mentally as a clutch. It's more a less a torque converter. And a conversion is possible. When i got a new gearbox fitted into my auto, it was a new torque converter which had an external oil cooler as well for around $3500.

Manual conversion wouldn't be too hard and i think from memory costs about the same if not less, but it'll fit in the same spot. Just different pieces to work it all.

You should specify the problem/scenario a bit clearer.. (being an understatement). This way anyone reading might be able to give you more assistance. There are one too many things to do with the mechanics of a car and you have to be as detailed as possible, else you'll run around in circles

mmmz.. im thinking.. maybe it would of been easier to get a manual to start off with :)
other than that, look @ how a manual accords bracket etc sit and basically replicate it - or go car wreckers n rip one out then fit it to yours ^_^

basically what he is saying is there is no bracket to bolt the cluch pedal to... sounds like a custom bracket may be in order :D
