are type R headers as good as after market 4-2-1 headers, what kind of gains would i see in a 96 gsi and what would be the best exhaust diameter to get in press bent??

or would 4-1 headers be better, i know they are mainly for top end power. how would they work on a non vtec motor which redlines a 7000rpm. does any one have any experience.

auspec type r headers are susposedly the same as my vtir headers so yerr i dont think they would be that good and as adrian from toda au said if u aint got the money go for x-force headers they would be equal to jdm headers but for half the price....or something like that...
as for diameter of zorst type r's run 2.25 or there aboutz and pplz say max diameter for a b series is about 2.5 so yerr not much room to work with but atleast you roughly know whats best....

but reason for aftermarket headers are because they are better in most cases...

i got told that b18c headers wont fit a b18b is that true, i wanna get the 4-1 headers from xforce

so would it make much difference in power getting the jdm 4-1 or xforce 4-1 as oppesed to aftermarket 4-2-1 not aus typeR??

mandrel bends susposedly give almost a 50% better air flow rate as oppose to crush bends, not sure if crush bends are the same and press bends but yerr main point is mandrel bends make a difference....so ive heard =)

depends what ur after
4-1 better top end and can feel the bottom end lagging on the jdm 4-1's
4-2-1 better bottom to mid end power.
jdm 4-1 headers r good and go for n e where form 650-800.
aftermarket gof rom n e where from 300-1500

have u seen how small they r da1nonly?

the stock headers are great.. =)

10hp on a Gsi with only headers...
hmmmz... just cruise the car around =)
tbh...its a waste trying to do up a GSi.
just sell it and get a type R =P

the headers are only temp to have some balls for like a month to 3 months then im getting it turbo charged.

i cant drive a stok car i have to do something to it!!!!!!!!!!!!

come out sometimes..
and we'll give it a hit or two...

yeah.... well get a canon muffler, that'll give you some noise..

ive only got stock headers also. even my exhaust is stock. ffs the whole cars stock! haha.

got a chance to drive frends car when he got jdm 4-1 headers on and felt the difference immediately.

ill know how slow it is on sunday im taking it to the drags.
ill be happy with low 16s, high 15s.

All ive done to it is cold air intake with k&n pod in stok box. it doesnt go that bad. ill give v6 commos a good run and some 5lts to.

i had a 12sec 200sx before hoping this to be as quik or even quiker 1 day

Ill never get the power i want staying atmo. and lumpy ass cams cost heaps and need alot of tunning and who knows how much hp you gain

got my itr aus headers they are not cast iron, not heavy, and would for sure make a diference compared to the stok gsi manifold, i just fixed them up and they look like new
