hi , I am thinking to get 4.7 final ratio and LSD with the gearbox ..
do u think 1500 altogether is a good price or not ? or worth to get ?
but add the postage and tax . around 2k ..

thats a very good price... the quaife LSD setup is normaly around $2500 just for the lsd ! so yeah ;) you have a good price

I got the ITR gearbox on my B16A2 with the oem LSD and 4.7

the first three gears accelerate alot quicker and feels like it has a bit more torque. But once u hit 4th its like a slug, beause the gear is so tall. But if you're putting the LSD and 4.7 into a B16A gearbox, the 4th gear is a bit shorter than in the ITR, so it should be sweet

actually . the gearbox and LSD are from ITR DC2 .

as my supplier said the car will gain obviously .. I dunno .
what is the ratio of VTIR b16a2 gearbox now ?

The first 3 gears of the DC2 ITR are the same as B16A but 4th and 5th are really tall. But the 4.7 shortens the gears e.g i can only go 90kp/h in 2nd gear

i was doing some thinking about my gearbox the other day. (i got a EK4 Vti-R) and was wondering what i could do to get it to pull harder after thrid....anyone got any good ideas? (other than spending $2K like EKIV? no offence, but a man has a budget. hehe) just go with changing the final drive ratio? how much would i be up for? I want to lean towards getting it good for track, but its my daliy driver....thanks guys

i heard that quaife was one of the best brands for LSD :D anyone want to confirm?
