ripped type r cones! HELP!!

i have a problem. i was refitting my type R's into some pods in the front doors of my civc and the person in charge of the drill slipped! he put the drill through my type R's. it tore an inch of the surround away and split an inch of the cone!!!! any help can i fix it or can alpine fix it????

Relax dude, you simply need to send it back to Alpine to get the speaker re-coned dude. :)

Was this person working for a store perchance? If so, it's their problem not yours.

nah it was my friend!!How do i get the details to send it back to alpine? is it an expensive repair?

lol take it to your closest alpine retailer and ask them, i think they'll have a better then us guys. :)

You need to send it to one of alpines dealers who will then send it to Alpine in Melbourne.... You cannot go to Alpine directly as they only deal with dealer...

bit of duct tape will do the job! lol no seriously do as said above, just send it in to get fixed. Try n rip em off say it was like that out of the box!... but remeber, lies make baby Jesus cry.
