ok, i installed my oil catch can, however it seems as though a lil bit of oil is still running to the ummz "air only" sorta tube... which i thought the catch can would stop. Damn... how much oil actually would go into it normally before i installed the catch can :(...

so anyone with catch can experience, give us you 2 cents ^_^... greatly appreciated.
diagrams to get the most of ur catch can, preventing oil to still be sucked up etc. etc...
baffling/ filtering etc.

cheers guys

what brand of catch can did you buy?

Ben said somewhere that you need to insert some steelwool in it.

if its a non-baffled can some oil will catch inside the in and outlets to the can. Quite abit of oil will catch on the inside of the can too. Its kind of unavoidable to filter ALL of the oil vapour.

Its best to have some filtering element like steel wool or abit or plastic mesh bunched up to further filter thru and catch oil from the inbound vapour.

hmzm.. i got steel wool in there already--- should i add more of it--- should the whole can be filled up with steel wool? like full on packed..? if i did that, wouldnt more oil be able to get caught then sucked to the vacuum part/>
