which muffler for a Eg? all recommendations welcome

i wanna get a muffler for my breeze this week, i got quoted $250 for any size cannon and $140 for a sports box from liverpool exhaust, which one u guys think would better suit my car (noise and looks ) and is this a good price? the cannons are hurricane brand. any suggestions for other types of mufflers and any shops in sydney?

What's a sports box ??

If you're only getting an exhaust for noise, get anything. And you need to be getting one installed from the catback (not just the tip) for their to be a difference to the noise your car makes. Catback = replacing the existing exhaust pipe with one that's thicker. Bigger pipe = bigger noise. BUT pipe too big = loss of power.

You Don't need to get a catback system if you're just after some noise.
Catback gives you a performance increase if you choose the right size for your car. If you just want noise, the tip will do fine.

i heard tips don make a difference, i was gonna get a cannon muffler for $250 installed from liverpool exhaust (hurricane) or buy the 3A racing brand (cheap brand) from autobarn and get it installed by liv exuast for $70.

hey guys important issues come up regarding mufflers and its for everyone too, couple of people told me if i get the cannon on my car because its a carby it'll pop like hell and make an ass out of me, can the engine be tuned so that echausts dont pop? anyone having a popcorn party in their exhaust system? and can the engine be tuned so that theres no unburnt fuel in the exhaust so it doesnt pop? thx
