I ve just installed the bpipe, just wanna share with people that i m really really surprised that bpipe would make such huge improvement to the response of the car. All revs improvement is huge especially to the low end. I thought that the extra size compared to the the oem one wouldnt make that much of a difference but i am wrong. For those who only has the muffler, adding the bpipe would surprise u..... :D

Ahh, ok. You know the jazz can win against a non-turbo XR6, those things weigh like 1700kg, not including granny.. Bur XR6T or XR8 is a different matter!

we got a BA at work and there is really no difference with XR6 or XT and with g-tech it does 7.89-8.12 secs 0-100km/h and quarter 15.78 is best ive gotten but this thing does eat old 5l SS(stock ones) easily, mini cooper S, straightline the ba starts pulling away above speeds of 100

I'm still deciding what to do on the header front....remour has it that x-force may be working on a proper 4-2-1 design manfild something more a long the lines of the DC5 style.....I'll have to find out about that.

Did you end up getting a cat fited to the system Zimp??

Zimp13, do you think you can get a deal which is only Bpipe without the muffler?

i cant.... recently i managed to get some one to share with me... meaning that he gets the muffler and i get the bpipe... thats y i put my bpipe for sale in the forum.... no one was interested so i put on my car and try it out.... at first i thought not much difference at all, but i was so surprised of the gain through the bpipe... it improves the performance at the whole range not just low end... the reason y i m selling the bpipe after getting it (took me very long to manage to get a buyer for the muffler) is i am going back next month... but now i am keepin the bpipe on the car as the car will not be sold yet for the time being.... only way is for u to get a buyer for the muffler.... ohhhh there is also a guy who wanna the muffler as well the other day... if u interested i can give u his username as he wans the muffler only.... or anyone else interested..... :)

I can only speak for myself, but sound is a secondary objective. For me its about the performance, and lets face it, the catback isnt where the ponies lie. The HP gain and throttle response lies in the intake and the header - to a certain degree the cat.

IMHO the money - from a tuninggeeks POV - should be spent on the intake and the header. Sadly, the selection for the GDx is small yet, only Spoon and mugen so far. Im not too impressed with the gains from them either, but then again, its small engines, so what little there is to gain... right? Anyways - the important thing for any exhaust system on a NA'ed 4banger is resonance, explained here (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Resonance), is the most important thing. Not only for performance, but also for sound. The better the resonation, the easier for the exhaust to exit the engine, and the smoother the sound. You know how cheap exhausts sound raspy/ricey? Thats beacuse they dont resonate the exhaust system for the car its made for :)

What Fuji did you get asian? The powergetter?

Actually the Fuji prices are pretty damn good...very good infact!

The single best system getting around is mine! Full custom stainless, virtually no resonance, quiet (and legal), and it isn't a huge fart-cannon with a tip the size of a drain pipe....but then my requirements meant I couldn't buy something off the shelf.

Sound is a personal thing...I prefer to keep it quiet and not draw attention to myself

I bet it sounds nice, but I see a clearance issues there. It hangs raelly low, and so, with a lovered car, it would be a pain in the ass at least here in Norway. Arent there catback systems which utilizes the OEM design, where the tailpipe is bending down, thus allowing for a more tighter fit?

Oh, I see. Its kinda hard to see from the picture, but is there a cutout in the rear skirt for the muffler?

Very quiet...just by hearing, you can't tell there's a new exhaust installed.

Torque has increased...car is going smooth and faster than before :D

Still thinking if i should get a high flow cat or not...i might just get it dyno/tuned without a high flow cat.

had ppl jumping in and didn't even know i've installed an exhaust..hahaha

after i put the xforce bpipe the sound of the exhaust becomes different. Deeper and louder. But really improve the response of the vehicle.

i found in the fuji's website they have another muffler for the jazz, the "Wagolis" version. it looks more 'conventional', its not the cannon type. maybe that would be better in terms of clearance...but its only an axle back though....doesnt have bpipe.
