Windsor NSW?

I used to live at North Richmond and used Windsor Exhaust once - but found them far too expensive.

I went there twice with my other car.

First time I was very happy with the (basic type of job) work done. I went there on a friends recommendation.

I went back about a year ago to have a $2000 exhaust system (before their fitting costs) I supplied fitted by them. The thing had a few basic fit issues that they could have done right if they spent time with it. Problem is they didn't spend the time on it and gave me back my car with a crooked exhaust. I explained to them beforehand it was important to me that it was done right and they said they understood that.

I took the car back to them to get it straightened. I was assured they would sort it out. When I went back and picked the car up it was straight, it was late, getting dark and they were closing so I got in the car and went home. When I got home I got under it and looked at the work they did - they cut a section of my polished stainless system out about eight inches long, and welded in a "bodgy" section of silver painted mild steel as this was the fast and easy way to straighten my system - problem is it looks like a cheap crappy job when you get under it to look at it. This is a problem for my car as the system is fairly visible. If it was a matter of what they costed the job at I would have rather paid more for them to spend the extra time to get it right properly. I was not happy with what they did (I am still ticked off about it to this day) but didn't bother taking it further as I had wasted enough time travelling an hour each way to drop my car off for a day and come back and get it (twice) - not including my trip up there to get a quote. That, and they had already stuffed my exhaust so there was not much to be gained out of going further.

I explained to them I was particular and that I wanted it to look like a show car system beforehand. They obviously misunderstood when they said they knew what I was after.

They could probably handle a basic cannon muffler install but I sure as heck am not giving them anymore work.
