Ok i got the Xforce headers cat and twin loop installed a couple of weeks ago on my 98 VTIR teg. Sorry about the late review.
Well i got it installed by Wicked Exhaust @ Wickham Newcastle.
At first they were making a high pitched whistle sound (kinda sounded like a turbo) but i took it back to the guys and they found that it was the flew they put in was faulty, so they quickly replaced that.
I've that these make a quite good sound, not too loud which is what i was wanting, but a nice note. The power increase is quite large in the mid rev range. (I know i would have gotten better performance from say, Toda headers.) Anyways over all i give them an 8 out of ten.
rather cheap too at $799 for the headers/cat/twin loop, and $250 for installation and extra stainless pipeing.
Thanks to EgSI for the good service in providing the exhaust and the quick delivery interstate.
I would recommend this setup. The only thing i would have changed would have been the headers (gone toda or spoon) but i coudn't justify the extra $1000 or wat ever they are......

dont have sound clips. Its very quiet overall (compared to other loud exhausts anyway) but it starts to scream once vtec kicks in. One day i will get sound clips and photos.

I think the sound of this exhaust is great. I heard it just recently on an accord and it sounds great. Also looks really different as well.

Hey, I've been thinking of getting the same setup but lately i've been quite doubtful as the guy at the shop said with this setup I'd be looking at 8kW gain. Duno wat 8kW feels like but seems not worth the money put into it?

My question is:
So you actually DO feel gain from it and feel that it's a worthy mod?

i got a lil dif system, on my dc2r i got all xforce 4-1 headers with 2.5 inch mandrel bent stainless steel piping, but i opted for the cannon finish, i felt an incredable gain in top end but haven't gained much down low, as the 4-1 flow too much for down low........thats what they say, my car made 127fwkw .....with the exhaust, & a custome made intake pipe with a k n N pod filter.....

hey i had xforce 4-2-1 headers on my accord cd5. i felt a difference i reckon it was worth it. neways in the world of all motor it is hard to gain much power since honda did such a good job
