SQ result!!!

As you all know that i've been waiting to enter this SQ comp. today at No Limit. Well I enter in the "Amateur Street" was suppose to enter the "Pro Street" but had a talk to the judges there and they recommanded me to go into the amatuer street instead.

Well, the result is that.............your ozhonda member came......1st!!!! thank guys/gals for the your support this past few weeks, and special thanks to No Limit in Campbelltown for doing the install and did a great job in tuning the system.

Also thank you Anna1984 for coming down to give even more support :thumbsup: . :D

I'm thinking of entering the next one comming up but this time around going to "Pro Street" but dont know if i should do full bling bling my car inside or not. Think next one should be around 3rd week of August. Anyone interested?

SPL is not something im a fan of, grew out of it almost 12 yrs ago. my poor old ears cant take it no more...

yeah but when you look at it, most ppl that go in pro street and pro show their cars ain't that hot!!!! that's why they can afford to buy those sort of stuff. Sorry if i have offended anyone on here, but yeah, i just like a good ride with good quality music.

Yes I have grown out of SPL but hey i thought i try my luck with SPL anyway just for the fun of it, with my setup now i can probably get 150 Db's, but dont think that is enough to stand on the podium hhehaehahe

Pro is the people that are in the industry, whether they work in a store or at the wholesale level they are all Pro. Oh yeah and if you modify any equipment or buy something from overseas that was never sold here you are automatically bumped into Pro.

If the importers/distributors showed up then you would see some flash cars. you have to remember these cars are not sponsored, they are privately owned so they dont need to look great on the outside, just sound fantastic on the inside. the show part is the install, not really aimed at the car outside itself.

importers/distributors, now thats a different story. they need to have their cars with flashing lights and stickers all over them. its like calling them rolling advertisments. people look when a car is plastered with sh!t all over it. if it's a sleeper then you wont pay attention to it nor will the owner worry too much about someone knocking it off :)

its all good fun and most their are audio enthusiasts not rev heads :D you do get the odd hoon like the guy in the yellow/gold pulsar that hit his car due to the engine stalling and the power steering going also... but hey we expect someone to show off, but as long as they dont cause harm to others, thats all that counts. for all anyone cares they can rap themselves around a pole, just as long as they are not involved with the event then everyone will have fun catching up on new stuff and friends that they havent seen since the last event...

Just a few points guys.

1. Attendance.
Thankyou to all for attending and making it a great day. Thanks also goes to Louis for hosting this particular round. Big congratulations to Joe for winning A.Street! Well done.

2. Next round.
We're still planning the next sound off but it is looking around mid to late August.

3. Class jumping
Joe, exercise a little caution when planning on jumping up a class. I say this because generally the competition in Pro class is somewhat superior to amatuer and whilst having Z's is a damn good start, those alone will not compare to some of the Pro car systems.

In P.Street class you'll be up against competitors like Mr_Bob, Critter, Arktran, Henry Aw, Damon Dupriez, ICACHA (when his equipment is actually in again), myself and others and the system will need to sound absolutely perfect to stand a chance of netting a place. Remember we judge Pro a LOT harsher than amatuer. I'm not trying to discourange you but you might want to do a couple of years in A.Street before heading into P.Street champion. :D

4. Hoons etc
Did that guy in the Pulsar actually hit something did he? We heard something while judging and looked out the rear window but couldn't tell. ICACHA, while we're on the subject of crashes should we mention the Excel? ;)

hehehehhe yeah that excel was pretty bad, but hey he made all that effort to going to the sound off!!!! well done to him....yeah im looking at doing SPL first though, change subs and a bit of the arranged system,

But would most likely to take your advise on staying in the A.S for a while until i can get more points!!! Well coming from a judge that well be judging, its always good to take it in consideration, thankx for the advise =)

ohhhhhh...him nah he doesn't have a s15, his friend has one but it wasnt there that day!!!! yeah it was the white excel that had a accident on the way to the sound comp!!! his tyres were bold ass and the car spin out but he still managed to get to the sound off in one pleice and took out the "encouragment award" and the hoon in the pulsar, looks like he did happy laps around the place getting his blow off valve going off heaheaheha....
