Exhaust pipe diametre

i wanna be a tight ass and leave the stok pipes im my exhaust and fit the extractors and just change the rear muffler to a straight thru one, but only if the stok pipes are 2inch or larger and im not sure if they are mandrel as my car is realy fkng low and cant get a good look, any one got any idea????

i think the pipes are 2 and 3 8th's mate, just under 2 and a half inch all the way through! spend an extra few dollars and get the resinator ripped out, replace it with a piece of pipe and get a high-flow cat, it's worth it!

Headers, Cat, Resinator and muffler are the most restrictive aspects of the Gsi, you will get the best HP gain from doing these, the pipes are lil' gain at all.
