I've got this switch on the left of my handbrake, but i don't know how to use it or whats it for?
doesnt anyone know how to use this?

oh , so you have this thumb dial near your handbrake yes ?

must be a vtec controller or suspension damper adjuster.....actually i have NFI !
Looks liek a old school adjustment for something electrical....

Also , to find out maybe take out your middle console surrounding the handbrake - and find out if there is any wires / how many connected to it.

i cant get any pictures! but i could discribe it for you! it looks exactly the same as the spoon switch but my one has no brand! its just a switch that looks exactly the same but its located on the left on my handbrake on my dc2

he said in a prior post that his one isn't spoon, it is a no name!
could be a sub/bass controller. Kicker have a little dial like this for their amps. Have you followed the wires (if any) to see where they go?

the picture shown was a spoon vtec controller... i know because i was about to purchase one of them.
DIY or get sum1 to take ur console apart, follow the wire.. maybe the previous owner CBF taking it out ebcasue it would look ugly with a hole in the console. so they chopped the wires and left the switch there-

i was dailing it while driving, when i turn it + i could hear this vtec blast sound between 2900 3200rpm ! when i turn it the other side doesn't make that noise, so i assume it has something to do with the vtec.. cant be audio..

Since you say your knob has no brand, Im thinking it was used for rice enhancements.

Prob to adjust neon light brightness or the doof doof synchronisation with the SUBs.

my mate has a similar switch from his kicker amp. so it might be from that.

But if you say you played with it and it had a full hektic vtec blast. i'd follow the heard and go with take it off and follow the wires.
