I cant help it. I know its old fashion and oldschool, but when it comes to Honda, small displacement engines and little room, I like light rims. On my Civic and ITR I knew I had to go small and light to maintain the good acceleration.
My car is MR, so White, Black and Bronze will do. I will not go larger then 15x6 /7.
Instead of posting a bunch of specs and pics, here are the links:
Volk / Rays (http://www.rayswheels.co.jp/)
BuddyClub (http://www.first-inc.co.jp/buddyclub/top_m.html)
Advan (http://www.advan.com)
Mugen (http://www.mugen-power.com) Spoon (http://www.spoon.jp)
Work (http://www.work-wheels.co.jp/)
:honda: is teh sex
Edit: Ok, so I was gonna make a poll, but Im analretarded, so I forgot to add it. Choices are here:
- Volk Racing TE37 (White or Gunmet)
- BuddyClub P1 (White or Gunmet)
- Mugen MF10L (White)
- Advan RG (Bronze)
- Work Emotion CR (Gunmet)
- Spoon Sports SW388 (Gunmet)

what colour is your car? If it's red I think the Mugen MF10L is good!!! I got a Red Jazz and that's the rims I want to get... or the Work Emotion CR Kai in white.

Black rims don't suit the red... I think White or gold with polished lip... :)

The SW388s are powdercoated in gunmetal if Im not mistaking.

If you want lightweight, go any of the forgies. I persoanlly would be going either TE37s or SW388s or their equivelant (Regamaster - they make them for Spoon) which can be had in silver, white and gunmetal. (Spoon are black).

What colour? I had white P1's on my ITR before I sold her. White rims on MR looks nice imho. But I guess gm would be neat too.

Please consider the tyres too. For wide rims, the rim weight is less than 50% of the total weight including the rubber.
My stock 14x5.5 steelies are 13kg with rubber. My lightweight 15x6.5 SSR rims that are 3.9kg with no rubber, they came to total 12kg with rubber.
Also, with lower profile tyres more weight is concentrated on the outside of the spinning wheel - thus giving it even more inertia against the car's acceleration. Just be careful, because you don't want to make your car slower with the jazz.. esp. since you don't have the VTEC model!

ok thanks for the info  so i reckon even a 16" jdm cast wheel will weigh more than the stock 14" steelies right? ...coz i remember jus-10 said his Gram Lights weighs 6kg....add the tyres that would easily make it abt 14 to 15kg?
is that the reason why F1 car run such small rims compared to the tyre size...b'cos of the inertia thingy?
