Hi guys,

what would be the best way to fix a damaged guard?

My left guard popped out. The screws had come off and the holes were damaged so it is impossible to replace the screw.

I tried to screw it back on and it worked for a bit until i put 16" rims on my EG and lowered it 2 inches.

The other guards don't rub against the tyres, but i haven't had a full car yet, so im not sure if it will.

I got king springs, stock shocks. It rides well, not very bouncy at all.

But now the damaged guard has popped out again. It only rubs on hard turns.

I was thinking of rolling back the guards. Will this fix the damage guard as well?

yeah sounds like you should roll the guards, but as to wether it would fix the original problem i dont know. after an incident i had i had to get the guard repaired by a plastics repairer (obviously lol). But if there's no damage to the actual plastic then you dont need to do this. perhaps get some new screws and get your guards rolled?

Just the hole for the screw was damaged which means i can't really put another screw into it. I might get the guard replaced, then i'll roll them back.

Thanks.

btw.. how much do u think it would cost to replace it?

oooooohhh to replace im not sure, but you could get it repaired, but even thats a tad expensive. Check with a wreckers, i mean its just a piece of plastic that gets flicked with mud and crap right? no reason to buy a NEW one.
