I am biased over BJ dont like em much from prevous experences.

as long as they do a front and rear ( 4 wheel ) alighnment who gives a **** what they call it. ill update the technical guide for the civc soon so you can get the factory specs. As long as they are with in thoes specs you have a proper wheel alightnment. if not then you have been BJ'ed

I got my wheel alignment done at Bob Jane T Mart after I put on a set of 17s
And the ride sucked but I also dont think they did a proper wheel alignment cos my tyres were still wearing away unevenly
So I went somewhere else to get it done
Might have been a bad job by someone or something though so give it a try if you wish :)

Yeah, I've been BJ'd in the past too.

Got some 17s and 'suitable' rubber, as well as 4 wheel alignment and balance. When I picked it up, they said my alignment was out a fair bit and that was why it was pulling to the left. I scratched my head and said it has never pulled to the left in the previous 3 years that I had owned the car.

Anyhow, I got in and drove away, only to find that the car now pulled to the right! Gave me the shits, because my car was always spot on until then. I also discovered that the tyres had the wrong load rating. They put on 80h tyres, where my civic requires a MINIMUM of 82h load rating.

I took the car back and pointed this all out to them, ended up getting new tyres at 84h load rating, and the alignment reset to what it should have been. But even then it still pulled a little bit to the right, but not so bad. When I took it in to Honda for it's next service it was spot on again.

Moral of the story - BJ are good for wheel/tyre packages, but don't go there for an alignment.

Hi All,

I think BJ and Beaurepairs are both OK...

I had a momo steerer that was out by half an inch off centre... They were scared to fix it at Beau's, the guy said he messed up the last momo steerer he took apart... BJ's fixed it without taking it off, no wucken forries!

I beleive rubber has alot to do with the feel of your ride, I swapped from Silverstones cause every bump felt like the grand canyon and now have goodyears... smooth as!

:( im getting 17s put on by bob jane 2moro..... better be spot on or i will be a very unhappy bloke!as for wheel weights on the outside of the wheel, theyd wanna pray that they dont, coz that will also make me very unhappy. I think i got cheap tyres too :( but ill just replace em with good ones later. no harm done really, cept to my wallet lol.

After hearing this sort of feedback I think that I will get mine done through my local Honda dealership. They were charging roughly $15 more than bob jane (when I enquired) but at least I can be sort of satisfied that it was done right.
