First of all

1.Search u NooB
2.ASk 1 questions at a time.

and now for the answer
u must have a Gl or a Breeze to have a carby
these carby engines will benifit from bogger exahust just like any other cars
the set up your probly looking at is a 2" mandrel bent catback
also wack on some K&N carby filter. shouldnt cost u too much
id say around 400 max for the exhaust and 150ish for the filter

ok now with suspension mods...
First of all if i was you i would put in a Rear sway bar.
the Stock GL and Breeze dont come with 1
it'll stabilise your rear so your car feels nice and strong

if u want a budget suspension upgrade get some used adjustable shocks like bilstein. koni's etc and put in some lowered springs or Nice and hard progressive springs like Spoon springs.

and for the Good performance shops in melb

i have no idea
ask some of the melb guyz

you'll see slight improvments, but nothing massive. save for an engine swap i suppose.
suspension mods are a great place to start too, and don't forget the braking side of things also.
If i were in your possition, i'd get the braking and handling sorted, then seek more power.

Yes. Only the Si , and Vti in the EG range came with rear swaybars afaik.

IMO "jdmcivic" - do not do any mods. Save up and either get a engine transplant ( $5 grand ++) or simply sell your car and buy something faster in the first place.

Or , drive aroudn and be happy for good fuel economy
