Hey guys,
i'm trying to get my headlights off and attempt to custom fit my 4700k H4's in. I've removed the 3 screws off the top, but cant find the rest - how do i get it off?!?!

yeah, thanks guys. Thats what i just read...thats gotta suck.
I think i'll just attempt modifying them while still on the car :p

Dude...

I modified sum 4000k h4's and put them in my car and i didnt even need to take off my front bumper. you can get to it easily without and if u want.. just remove the airbox..

Ye G2IC will tell you how to get the bumper off, but just for future reference:

To remove the bumper you need to undo:
2 screws in each wheel well
2 bolts (from memory) underneath the car
2 bolts behind each bumper indicator (remove indicators first!)

and the bumper comes off quite easily.

Then there are brakets and bolts for each light which will be easily acessible with the bumper off.

A 5 minute exercise if you find all the bolts. Tell us if you get into any trouble and I'll find a pic pointing out all the bolts.

Just got the headlights in...the housing seems to break off so easily like its made of fibreglass or something. The h4's fit quite snugly now, looks awesome but its damn dim now. Any1 have this problem after modifying?

do these h4's have 1/2 shielding on them? because the headlights are designed to work with h4h with no inner shield.

Oh crap...i just checked...its half shielded. Hmmmz.....love the rice factor tho! hehe...i'll c if i can do anything else about the lighting. Anyone know about the legislation on lighting? I've heard that there are a few loopholes...tried searching http://www.legislation.nsw.gov.au but cant find anything....

hey i couldnt get standard H4 white imitation zenon globes thing in my car and i noticed that the first message here said "custom"
can someone please expand on what im suppose to get for my headlights???

well i went down to honda today to get a set of front lights since 1 was blown. They gave me some bad news. The Honda distribution center is out of stock of the h4h. I was quoted 4 weeks minimum from when the center gets them, whenever that will be.
They also requested prepay before they order them :thumbdwn:

Damn, I hope not, I just paid almost $100 at Honda this morning for a new pair of globes!
