All depends on the mods you have done to your car.. or your future mods.... a exhaust system is something you should do last.. After you finish playing around with your engine.. if your serious...

Typically though for worked engines.. NA internal stuff.. 2.5" cat back system..
For a stock engine intake headers exhaust a good cat back 2.25" system is good.. again make it out of stainless and mandrel bends...

hmm wondering y u r posting about integra..
when u have a civic?

btw bruce
fujitsubo powergetter .. even though the name may sound like it will get u power
it isnt actually the best power getter..

best indication is that its jasma approved.. ie .. it got low emissions low sound

who gives a shit .. we want POWER

I'll keep why i'm asking to my own :P

To make it more simple for the complicated... It's only got an airfilter...
So simply i want to know the best exhaust setup for this.

If you want top end virtually nothing compares to Buddy Club Spec 3. Except maybe a straight pipe :P

just kidding with ya john!

Personally I like Fujitsubo RM01a, not too loud, good sound, good fit, high quality and 4-5 kw gain.

LOL yeah true. My ears are always ringing.

But VTEC through the city is maddddddd

Wouldn't mind trying Fujitsubo though.

2.5 inch exhaust is worth it on ITR but for best results add in a 2.5 hi flow cat and a good header with 2.5 collector. To make the most of it you NEED to tune ecu and/or cam gears.

Then choose custom exhaust or pre-built/jdm? Custom is often cheaper, but every custom exhaust I have been involved with for Honda's as always been loud even with resonators - there could be exceptions out there. And almost all JDM aren't 2.5 anyways.

BLKCRX - I understand what you are saying but some of us don't want to crack the engine open quite yet.

Thanks mpd076-chuck, getting an ECU and cam gears etc... is further then what I'm looking for at the moment.

You're welcome, just don't expect a huge gain from only an exhaust on an ITR. You will get a bit more power but the stock package i/h/e works well in harmony and you really need to upgrade the whole lot and tune it to get gains that are noticeable.

Is the Mugen exhaust and headers any good? In terms of actually gaining power?

hmm
he mugen system of course .. is good in its own way ..
but the system is jasma approved .. and possibly not the best for mid-high range power..

but where the system excels is low to mid range ..

From what I have read Mugen exhaust is actually pretty good. I thought the twin loop design would be restrictive, but apparently its a good exhaust. Just don't have the $$$ to buy one :(
