u know how to do the timing on it??
its probably fairly complicated.. the timing should be in a workshop manual.. someone might have one who could give u the info if u dont have one..

we tryed working out the timing on my EG... i had to bridge 2 wires together (near my ECU) so we could do it (im pretty sure its something to with bypassing the electronic timing??? so u can do it manually, not too certain of this though).. then u gotta match up the mark with another red coloured mark.. it's more complicated than what some old piece of shit car is too check..

leave it alone
once the car starts to drive the computer will play with the timming to its likings ( dependeing on your ecu type )
