So.... I picked up my new Jazz on Thursday arvo, and I have to say that I am absolutely thrilled :D I'm already itching to make a few cosmetic "improvements" lol. Does anyone know if the old style VTi-S spoiler is still available through Honda?

its not under accessories then... it should be under parts... cos if damaged, still can buy from honda... they just dont sell them under accessories category

it wont match up with the current shape bumpers

Will it fit, or not? lol

wat dreams said was the wing may not look good with the facefilt jazz cos of the bumper shape... but this is just one's opinion.... i m sure some people will like it..... u can fit anything to the car, only whether straight bolt on or need to modify to make it fit...

ash85
02-07-2005, 12:38 PM
lol, it will defenitly fit but the contour of lines of the new bumpers wont match up. HENCE bumps on the facelift ver.

u can try. i want to see it too...

..... do you think it would look dodgy? And anyone got a rough idea how much it would cost including fitting and painting?!

hi...i'll be purchasing a new jazz vti auto in a couple of days, but i still cant decide which colour to get....choosing between the reb and blue and white actually.
i've heard from a friend that the red fades easily, and the white turns abit yellowish after some time....is that true??? also, whats the difference between solid colour (like the red), pearl and metallic (blue)??

Hi Fizz,

I just bought my VTi (vivid blue) a couple days ago, and trust me you won't regret it :D As for colours, flat reds do tend to be notorious for fading. My last car was flat red, and as I didn't have a garage to park it in I kept a car cover on it all the time when it wasn't being driven. I'm not sure about whites fading to yellow... white Jazzes definately look hot when done up. I think vivid blue is the best but of course I am biassed
I think the most important thing when picking a colour is to be 100% sure before you make the decision. When buying my car, I was told that vivid blue was out of stock and I might have to wait up to a month. I was told that they had a car in nighthawk black that was available for immediate delivery, and although I briefly considered it, I decided that considering I'm gonna drive this car for the next few years, one month wouldn't kill me to wait for the colour I really wanted. As it turns out, I took delivery two days later :D

yea i think the yellow is very nice but unfortunately none of the dealers have them anymore...all sold out. i quite like the red coz im thinking of fitting white rims on it...and i think it will be very contrasting on a red jazz. wouldn't the laquer paint coating stop the color from fading? will regular polishing & good waxing help protect the paint from fading? how come pearl/metallic doesnt fade easily then?

hey ash85 send me some clear pics of your blue jazz :D anyone else with red jazz care to send me some nice pics as well? ;)

I got a Milano Red Jazz..... I think any paint will fade if you don't take care of it... If you wash it regularly and wax it regularly I think any paint will last very long... :)

Yes I like the Red and white rims combination aswell... :)

coz he is pussy ma
hahahaha

regular wash and wax wont help to prevent fade
red is the easiest car to fade so dun park it outside all the time or cover with sth when they day is sunny
