Hey,
anyone know specifically how to clean carbon build up in the throttle body?
i got some carbie cleaner but the instructions aren't very clear!

open up piping from throttle body and turn on car
and slightly rev car and spray in at same time ?
thats wat i did.doesnt really do nething tho.do it in a open space coz alot of white smoke will come out of your car.

please dont leave your car ON while doign this - ANYTHING unfiltered can be sucked into there...
Just take off the intake pipe and leave the car OFF. Spray carbie cleaner inside , and around the throttle body. Use a tootbrush or a pipe cleaner and get in there and give it a good scrub - then get a towel and wipe up as much residue as you can. Leave to air dry inside , then reinstall intake pipe , turn on car - it might take a coupel of goes due to carb cleaner inside. Let it idle for abit and that should be fine.
