how much NOS would a D16y4 motor would handle?
or even handle it?

any motor can handle nitrous, it just depends on how much you would use.
one rule of thumb is to buy small jets for your d16 motor eg. 25hp or 50hp (to be safe)
dont forget its illegal to use on the street.

what else have you done to the engine. Maybe your could use that money on some other more legal mods first.... i always thought as NOS as a last resort

by the way, its nitrous, not NOS. NOS is the name of the company that sells the equipment.

to the thread creator, you'd find out answers to your questions if you google it or go to any US based forum. they love getting bottle fed there.

basicalli stay away from dry systems while they are cheep its alwayz cheeper not to need a new engine get a small single injector wet sys from rocket industries and some hotter plugs from NGK but ur stok block should be fine with a 100hp shot -just dont use in 1st or even 2nd and onley gas it past 4500rpm
the biggest problem/fear of nitrus is a lean air feul mix (not enough feul)wich makes ur motor go boom
